Anways...HELLO! I haven't posted in a while, so I thought I would write something. I actually don't know why I feel so bad for not posting in a while, considering nobody reads my blog, but I do...so therefore I'm going to rant. 

Lately I've been having this obsession with film and vlogs and cameras. I'll just look up random music videos to see how they were filmed sometimes. It's getting weird. "I've got a sick obsession." (Thank you Ke$ha) Which leads me to my next point....or my first point..I guess this blog post really doesn't have a point...huh...anyways.

I WANT TO START MAKING MOVIES AND CRAP. 

I know I said in my first blogpost that me and the misunderstoodwizards would start making more movies...but we haven't. We're all just so freaking busy/have no motivation that we haven't yet. But I'm bound and determined to start again. I haven't actually consulted with the group about my feelings....but I'm sure they will be on board. I'm texting Case as I type right now, and from the few one worded texts, I can tell he is as excited as I am. 

I ALSO WANT TO MAKE A VLOG. 

I think vlogs are fun, and I talk to myself all the time anyways...so I think if I just film me doing whatever the fetch I want..then I could get some good footage.

To catch you invisible readers up on my life, it's been good. I've been painting the town with the Dark Llamas and it has just been so enjoyable. Who are the Dark Llamas you ask? That's what our friend group calls ourselves. The original group includes Cody Timmons, Case Swanson, Shalei Miller, Trevor Munson, John Daly, & Bailey Kemp. But lately we've been hanging out with Randi Heaton & Carla Rodriguez as well...so that's just been a hoot!! The more the merrier...that's what someone always says! My dear friend Megan Ritchie moved in with me and we have just been having a ball. So much fun! She's great!

Anyways, life is good. I love High School. Where else could I run through the halls with my lightsaber app opened and yell, "THE FORCE IS STRONG WITH THIS ONE!"? The answer is everywhere. So..yeah, that doesn't really prove my point about high school being great. Oh well.

Ya know......I'm real angry today. I just feel like I could punch a hole through a wall and find the secret passageway to Narnia. That's how mad I am. I'm so angry that even Narnia would feel my wrath. I know what you're thinking...."Why Shalei...what on earth could you possibly be mad about? You're life is great...you are smart, funny, beautiful, and can go HAM with a lightsaber." I know. I know. Thank for the compliments...really, you're all great. But I am still upset...and do you know what I'm upset about?!? 

....BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I highly doubt that anybody reads my blog, so I'm just going to vent like a little school girl. Boys are dumb. Since when is it a crime to be straight up with a girl? To heck with all the middle man crap. Boys....if you like/don't like a girl...freaking TELL HER! Don't be an idiot and lead her on or keep her waiting. Yeah...maybe I'm being a little unfair to you bros, but I just have a lot of feelings. (Mean Girls Reference) *Cue Applause* 

Now I will admit that I'm not the best when it comes to the boys....I'm socially awkward and I talk about StarWars way too often....but I'm not afraid of sharing my feelings. (Most of the time that is) I feel like boys are stuck in the freaking middle school stages of life. You know...the stupid days when in order to tell a girl you like her, you tell her friend and told her to "relay the message." THIS ISN'T A POSTAL SERVICE MEN! FREAKING GET SOME COURAGE AND TELL THE GIRL HERSELF!

 "But Shalei....it's scary! What if they don't like you back?!" Well to that I say, at least you know now and being rejected beats wasting your time on something that will never be. 

I know I'm only in high school and I obviously know nothing about this subject....but those are my cares and worries right now. Feel free to cast this blogpost into Mordor.

Huzzah to Excite!

HUZZAH!!!!!! 

I thought it appropriate to start off my blogpost with a quality Huzzah. From my six exclamation points, you can probably tell I am quite excite. (No, I didn't accidentally forget the d. I just say excite instead of excited.) I have a plethora of excite things happening in my life. Let's list them, shall we? 

• THIS SATURDAY I'M GOING TO SEE PENTATONIX IN CONCERT IN VEGAS! Amy Nicholls scored us tickets. She's basically the greatest person ever. 
• MY BROTHER COMES HOME IN 5 DAYS!!! The whole family is going to be together again, and I couldn't be more excite. 
• I GET MY BRACES OFF IN 5 DAYS!! The same day my brother comes home. Is that just not gold in your cauldron or what?!? 
• MADRIGALS TRIP! The Madrigals Christmas trip is the best thing ever. Seriously, it's incredible. Unfortunately this will be my last one (#seniorproblems)but I'm excite to PARTY IT UP THE YING YANG! Oh and feel the spirit of Christmas... 
• CHRISTMAS!!!! That's pretty self explanatory. 

So, as you can see, my calendar is just chalk full of joyous activities. After all of the festivities, I plan on kicking back with a nice cup of tea and reflecting on life while watching various sunsets. Or like clean my room or something, not sure which I'll choose. I'll let you know how my festivities play out. Also, I apologize if you had a hard time reading this because of the word "excite." If you did...too bad, you probably suck and probably hate StarWars. All people who hate StarWars suck. But don't feel too bad you probably make up for it with beauty....

EXCITE! 

LOLZ, ROFL, & Lil' Wayne.

So....I have some pretty cool friends. For Sadie's Royalty last month, John and I made a movie. Since then, tons of people have asked us to post it somewhere or make more videos, so good news....WE MADE A YOUTUBE CHANNEL. Case, Cody, John, Trevor, Bailey, & myself are going to start making some more videos. Our YouTube name is MisunderstoodWizards. It's still in the works, but no worries, once we figure everything out...it'll be cool. Our video is below. Either you'll laugh or think we're complete idiots, or both. Not many people understand our humor...but if you do, then you'll chuckle once or twice. Case Swanson filmed and edited it, he's pretty talented. And Cody loaned us the fabulous clothing. 





Also, since we're on the subject of these guys, let's just take a moment to appreciate them. *silence* 



Alright, moment is over. 

I love my friends. These guys are the bees knees. Seriously, we have so much fun. For example, awkward dance parties in my living room, picking up free couches on the side of the road, going to fight night and trying to fit in, going to Jazzy Java and the Hope Chest every week, and being called trashy by everyone basically sums up our lives. Senior year is on the upswing thanks to these guys. So cheers to LOLZ, ROFL, and Lil' Wayne.

20 THINGS ABOUT SHALEI: 

1. My favorite food is pickles. There's something about a pickle that just soothes my soul. 

2. When I'm bored I dream of what my life would be like if I had red hair. Or I dream of what my life would be like if I was famous or a Jedi. 

3. Most of my life is spent pretending to be a different character that I make up. I'm pretty sure that's why most people don't understand me. 

4. Despite popular belief, I am smart. 

5. If I could be any animal, I would be a whale. (*insert reader's snickers here*)STOP LAUGHING! Whales are majestic.  

6. I wish I was a dancer. 

7. My favorite past times include thrifting, doing random things that people dare me to do, singing about nothing/everything, and staring at nature. 

8. I wish I had a banjo. 

9. I don't like shoes. They're useless in my mind. 

10. When I see birds flying I often cry. 

11. I love saying random/weird sayings that don't even make sense to me. ie: "You shut your mouth when you're talking to me boy." "For the love of chameleon pouches!" "If you don't have anything nice to say, then you can..." 

12. People often question my sanity. 

13. All I ever want to do is eat chili out of a frisbee on my roof. 

14. People often describe me as a trashy hipster. I often punch those people. 

15. I broke my hand punching a desk once. 

16. I broke my arm jumping over a hoola-hoop once. 

17. I'm very graceful. (examples can be found above.) 

18. I'm sarcastic. 

19. I feel beautiful when I frolic through meadows or leaves. But in reality I probably look like an injured kangaroo. 

20. I love lightsabers. 


And theres a little taste of what I do. It's fantastic...I love it. (If you didn't say those last two sentences in a Nacho Libre voice, then you're living life wrong.)

Hello. 

I'm going to try and start a blog. For those of you who know me, you'll understand that this will be a very difficult challenge for me. 

A: Because it takes time and commitment and I'm more of a "move with the current" type of species. I'm afraid of commitment ok? *soft sobs*

However, I'm going to try and do this. I'm not sure if anybody will even read this and frankly that's ok. I pushed the little *publish blog* button just so that I can write all of my random thoughts and ideas down, not to become a world renowned blogger and gain millions of adoring fans. (which let's face it...would be awesome.)

I guess I'll catch myself up on this month. November has been difficult, learning, and straight up great. I have done lots of service, I got to be in the Sadie's Assembly with my best friend John Daly and win the Special Spirit Award (king & queen), I have filled out college applications, I learned a new song on the guitar, I have gone thrifting almost every week with Cody & Case, I went to Sadies with Nate Gottfredson, I went Christmas Tree Hunting, and I wrote a musical about nuns. Successful month if I do say so myself. And I do say so myself. *Triumphantly raises goblet and yells HUZZAH!*
